About HomeCompleted

A better way to take care of the little things at home.

HomeCompleted was built around a simple idea: small home repairs, installations, maintenance, and unfinished to-do lists should be easier to get handled. Easier to plan. Easier to schedule. Easier to trust. And easier the next time your home needs something.

Serving Huntersville, Cornelius & Davidson, North Carolina. Fully insured. Locally owned.
What we believe

Home service should feel organized, predictable, and respectful.

Your time matters.

Evening and weekend availability helps you get work handled without automatically sacrificing a weekday.

Preparation matters.

Your Blueprint gives HomeCompleted useful context before your Pro arrives, so the Visit starts with a plan.

Your home matters.

Protection, cleanliness, communication, and respect are part of the work — not extras added when convenient.

Continuity matters.

Your Journal preserves useful history so every HomeCompleted Visit does not have to start from zero.

Why HomeCompleted is different

Small home projects deserve a better process.

The work itself may be familiar — a sticking door, a faucet replacement, a ceiling fan, a shelf that still needs to go up. What we are changing is the experience around the work.

A defined process, clear Visit pricing, prepared Pros, useful documentation, and home history that carries forward are all designed around one goal: making ordinary household work easier to hand off.

A process that gets better with context.

Blueprint before the VisitWe understand what you want handled before the work begins.
A prepared HomeCompleted ProYour Pro works from the same HomeCompleted process and standards.
Clear documentation afterwardCompleted work, useful findings, and photos are captured when appropriate.
A Journal that carries forwardUseful home information and prior Visit history do not disappear when the appointment ends.
The details matter

The things you should not have to think about.

Good home service is not only about whether the repair gets finished. It is also about how someone arrives, works, communicates, protects the space, and leaves your home.

Mindful arrival

We park respectfully and stay conscious of driveways, garages, lawns, landscaping, and neighboring property.

Protect before we work

Appropriate entry, floor, work-area, and furnishing protection is part of preparing the space properly.

Clear communication

You should know who is arriving, what we are working on, and what we find that may deserve your attention.

A clean exit

Cleanup is part of the Visit. Our goal is to leave the work area cared for, not simply the task completed.

A note from the founder

James L. Fatula, PE

Founder, HomeCompleted

I wanted to build the kind of home-service company I would want in my own home: dependable, professional, respectful, and easy to work with.

What bothered me was not only that small home projects were hard to get done. It was everything around them — remembering what needed attention, finding someone for a job that felt too small, coordinating schedules, explaining the same house again, and keeping track of what had already been done.

My engineering background shapes how HomeCompleted is being built: clear systems, repeatable standards, and continuous improvement. The goal is not to make home care feel technical. It is to make the complexity disappear behind a process that feels simple to the homeowner.

The Blueprint looks ahead. The Visit gets the work done. The Journal helps us remember what happened. Over time, the goal is simple: you should have less of the house to keep track of yourself.

Your home will keep making a list. Getting through it can be easier.
